ABOUTOZ

Oz is an award-winning multimedia artist with a focus in moving image and sound. Oz began his career as a cellist and sound designer for live theater, before starting VFX work at virtual reality company, Healium. In this position Oz learned how to work with stereoscopic 360 video and edited VR documentaries for Google and Discovery. Oz’s work with Healium went on to win Telly & Communicator awards and was screened at film festivals around the world, including Cannes Next.

Outside of VR, Oz has worked on commercials, music videos, film, and TV with clients such as ITV, DirecTV, & The NFL, as well as with artists, Mitski, Tech N9ne, Yves Tumor, & Yeah Yeah Yeahs. His work as a camera operator, DIT, and sound recordist has taken him to The Netherlands, Thailand, and all over the United States.

Oz is currently working remotely for Healium, while pursuing a BFA in filmmaking & photography with a minor in sound at the Kansas City Art Institute.
